I want to do Coil clears up to 3.2 with the FC, so if you have any coil you need done join me Tuesday nights at ten pm and Saturdays any and all times that I am on. Why? Raid content has had some of the best lore in the game prior to 3.0 (not saying MSQ is any bad in 3.0 just saying that raid content has a much better story which is self contained and wraps up nicely). I could tell you a story about how little I knew about 1.0 and how much clearing coil helped me understand the impact of 2.0 aside from "Yoshi P saved an IP for Squeenix" as a gamer I enjoy this game for lore.

With that said, coil is not a face roll unsynched as many of the FC members that have come to coil with me can attest (Riven, Deacon, Emery and his three back to back meteors when fighting Sephiro– errr "Naul") mechanics have to be respected.

Another reason is because I have noticed in Azys La and other end game areas of Heavens ward we are told about the Merycydians (spelled wrong I know, thanks auto correct for not knowing this word, just sound it out) and Coil especially FINAL COIL have a LOT of interesting lore about them, 3.2 might be a better experience if we know this stuff already.

Q; but Ares! we're all going to do coil again for the dyed craftable coil gear coming up in 3.2 anyway as coil is the true end game. So why would you want us to do these now and then again later on again?
A; Because I do not respect your time and I look forward to tasting your salt from failing level 50 content when you're all decked up in 210 gear… I live for this.

Q; Are you sure the lore is that good?

A; Yes I am certain, I enjoyed it so much that I want you guys to clear with me, skip cutscenes and then retire to an Inn and watch them back to back.

Q; I heard that this is a ploy to help you get bonus poetics to get your Anima weapon
A; I actually already got my Anima weapon on my DRK, and I am halfway done with the materials for my Black Mage so I really do not need poetics badly or anything, its truly about the lore.

Q; What about Crystal Tower? that has cool lore
A; I love you guys, but I dont want to sit in queue for an hour and get a troll group, and you can actually get to the Crystal Tower via Duty Finder, Coil… not so much. Also the reveals in final coils are actually very interesting and worth playing with me two days a week until the 23rd of the month

Q: Is it ever truly worth spending any time playing with you?
A: not really, but you guys are my only friends

Q: Is it not extremely manipulative to ask us to do this because you have no friends?
A: Yes, yes it is, and maybe my manipulative nature is the reason I have no friends but still, come get your ugly purple final coil gear with me!
