7C: What was the first MMO you played that pulled you into online gaming with a community?
HS: A game called Secondlife which is more of a user created based mmo that has a lot of freedom to do what you want, it has no storyline or main objective. FFXIV is my first rpg mmo I’ve played. I found out about it while pre-ordering FF13 Lightning Returns.
7C: What are your hobbies outside of gaming?
HS: Drawing, reading manga and Japanese fairytales and sewing.
7C: Favorite movie/ anime/ TV series of all time?
HS: Movie would be Memoirs of a Geisha. Anime would be Naruto & Bleach. TV series would be True Blood, Once upon a Time, Being Human, Galavant, Tudors, Merlin, Black Sails, Sleepy Hollow and the Office.
7C: Do you prefer PC, Mac or console gaming?
HS: Console only cause its way cheaper and no need for parts that I know nothing about!
7C: You can have one superpower for 24 hours. What do you choose and what do you do with it?
HS: Honestly a healing superpower, whether it be a power to heal every disease or absorb diseases and use as energy. I’ve thought about this before. I'd like to use it to get rid of diseases affecting myself and people… mostly cancer.
7C: What are you listening to right now?
HS: Sephirot's theme song!! Say My Name!! ;D
7C: If you could improve one aspect of FFXIV, what would you like to see improved?
HS: Having more options for non-grindy people. People who have just a few hours to be on to get stuff that’s the same or about equal to things people who grind get or can gather. I fully believe that if you farm crystals for 2 hours you should at least get 1, not be at the mercy of RNG nor have to have insane stats to gather stuff for vanity gear. They have kinda dealt with that with the two versions of certain vanity gear but I'd like to see the rest be like that.

7C: What was the first MMO you've played that pulled you into the online gaming community?
VA: The first MMO… jeez ummmmm… MapleStory I guess. Not whatever atrocity it is now, I'm talking 1.0 maple.
7C: Which do you prefer to use when gaming; PC, MAC or consoles?
VA: I used to be a console fan for the longest. Then, one day I ordered parts to build my rig. The rest is history, #PCmasterrace.
7C: What are your other hobbies that you partake besides gaming?
VA: I like going longboarding. Theres this long stretch of beach sidewalk in FTL that is just perfect to ride with some tunes and a brew.
7C: Where would you like to travel to?
VA: Montana. I just wanna be in the woods and on mountains. Florida is like Jonah Hills acting career, flat.
7C: Whats your preferred music genre(s)?
VA: I'm big on meditation music. Dean Evenson is on my top playlist on pandora. I also dabble in hip hop (Deltron 3030, MF Doom, Jemini, etc.) And lastly, instrumental metal, sans screaming.
7C: Who is your favorite superhero or villain in all of comic/gaming history?
VA: In gaming, it would have to be Ovan, from .hack//G.U.
This guy was both a superhero, and a super villain, at the same time
7C: If you had to choose between the Blue pill (Able to escape reality and live in the world you create with your imagination) or the Red pill (Remain in the current reality, the talk of which pill to choose would have never happened and you carry on with life). Which pill would you choose?
VA: I'll take the red pill. My life may not be perfect, but everything happens for a reason, building me into who i am today.
….HOWEVER, if this was a Matrix-esque question, blue pill, lets see how far the rabbit hole goes.

7C: What was the first MMO you played that pulled you into online gaming with a community?
EB: The first MMO I unintentionally played was Everquest/Everquest Frontiers on ps2 early 2003.
7C: What are your hobbies outside of gaming?
EB: A few hobbies outside of videos games… playing MTG (Magic the Gathering), building model kits (gundams) and listening to music.
7C: What’s your favorite music genre?
EB: I really don't have a specific favorite music genre but do listen to a lot of lounge & downtempo.
7C: Do you prefer PC, Mac or console gaming?
EB: I was originally a PC user but over time between having to upgrade a new hardware to adding and removing parts from my rig, I eventually shifted over to consoles for the simple fact of low maintenance. I do however miss the graphics of a PC rig and if I were able too, upgrade the graphics on my ps4.
7C: What are some of your favorite games of all-time?
EB: By far some of my favorite games to this day will be the Armored Core series (vol.1-3, Last Raven and For Answers). The original KoToR (Knights of the old Republic) 1 & 2. Lastly all of the original .hack//sign games on ps2 vol.1-4.
7C: Are you a cat person or dog person and why?
EB: I've been a Dog person all my life, their companionship is priceless and honestly rather be around them then most people.
7C: If you could improve one aspect of FFXIV, what would you like to see improved?
EB: The one thing would be to allow us to subscribe for more than 180 days and better veteran rewards that remain in the veteran status and not sold on the mog station.

7C: What was the first MMO you've played that pulled you into the online gaming community?
LA: FFXIV was my first MMO ever. Our very own Bellaurora helped pull me in. I had no idea what I was doing. I died to a ladybug my first time outside of Gridania… I tried a few FC’s before joining 7C but found my gaming home here. Now you’re all stuck with me!
7C: Which do you prefer to use when gaming; PC, MAC or consoles?
LA: I have pretty much every console made since the Sega Master System, so that’s what I’m used to. I do play FF on my laptop sometimes but I’m only comfortable with a controller. I am looking into building a gaming computer as my current desktop is getting old and then I can also play when my wife has confiscated the TV, watching every episode of New Girl again lol!
7C: What are your other hobbies that you partake besides gaming?
LA: Well my other hobbies are also games. I’ve played Magic the Gathering since 1996 and I think I’m pretty damn good at it (Grixis fo lyfe)!). I’ve become a football freak the last few years and that takes up a bulk of my time during the season and my internet time during the offseason. I love cars. I’m a big Mazda rotary and BMW fan. It’s been a useful hobby as I can now diagnose and fix pretty much anything on an automobile. I love music. It’s getting close to concert season again and one of my favorite activities is to just drink beer and chill on the steps of Red Rocks (it’s an amazing outdoor concert venue, look it up) while waiting to for the doors to open to get a good seat. Then drunkenly singing along with my favorite bands. Speaking of beer, I love beer. I got into the craft beer scene around 2009 and spend a lot of money trying new beer. I hit up a brewery pretty much once a week, have beer tasting parties at home, do trades with people across the U.S. It’s actually a pretty big part of my life.
7C: Where would you like to travel to?
LA: I’d love to do a European vacation. Germany to see their efficient culture in action, it’s the birthplace of beer, automobiles and schnauzers (all things I love!) and to visit BMW Welt (their super-modern museum). Spain to see the land where my dad’s side is from, see if I can blend in with the population and to try the food. Finally, France to eat and drink everything!
7C: What’s your preferred music genre(s)?
LA: I love indie (independent) rock. I feel like such an old man sometimes when I have no idea what the hot songs are people reference. My problem is that the stuff feels so fake, produced by think tank marketing and financial guys you know? I love music with some heart and emotion. Shakey Graves is my favorite artist I’ve found this past year. Perennial favorites are Spoon, Sufjan Stevens, Wilco, Cursive, Bright Eyes, Portugal the Man, The National, Arcade Fire, Grizzly Bear, Andrew Bird… I can go on and on so I’ll stop now lol. I do still love the shit I listened to growing up though. I’m very happy with some Smashing Pumpkins, Tricky, Fiona Apple, Incubus, Tribe Called Quest and Rage Against the Machine.
7C: Who is your favorite superhero or villain in all of comic/gaming history?
LA: Oh, that’s tough. I love me a villain and find myself cheering for the villain if the protagonist is too goody goody white knight. I loved Venom when I was a kid but now I’d say Magneto. He’s so OP he could basically take over the world but instead all he wants to do is create a better world for his people. He’s doing what he thinks is right and will use any methods to get it done. He already knows the X-men way won’t work and has been trying to get them to see this for years. One day they’ll find out he was right. He’s always blurred the line between a hero and villain and I think that’s pretty cool.
7C: What was your favorite subject in school?
LA: Social studies was really the only class I ever looked forward to. I enjoy history, psychology and religious debate. It’s definitely a mix of that. You actually learn life lessons and can take that with you and use it after school is done. Learning when and why society made the mistakes and choices they did stayed with me more than what I learned in algebra 2.

BA: My first MMO was FFXI surprisingly… then went to WoW… and now I'm here on FFXIV for good.
7C: What are your hobbies outside of gaming?
BA: My family when I’m not gaming. They mean the world to me. As a personal hobby I'm an anime lover. I collect anime I truly like and add them to my collection. I even got my children to love classics like Spirited Away and Howls Moving Castle.
7C: Favorite anime series of all time?
BA: Favorite anime for me is the top 4: Trigun, Outlawstar, ./Hack series and Sword Art Online.
7C: Where have you always wanted to travel to?
BA: I always wanted to travel to Egypt to see the pyramids.
7C: Which do you prefer to use when gaming; PC, MAC or consoles?
BA: Well not sure on that. I just know I would never use a Mac for personal use.
7C: You can have one superpower for 24 hours. What do you choose and what do you do with it?
BA: I would have the superpower to open people's minds much like Professor Xavier from X-Men. I would show everyone the error of humanity. That you must release the hatred in your heart. Hatred breeds more hate in next generations. It has to end. That's what I would do with the power of Professor Xavier.
7C: If you could improve one aspect of FFXIV, what would you like to see improved?
BA: To improve, I would say the ability to make personal airship mounts like the ones from the sky pirate quest chain. They had some sweet flying mounts.
