This is a life saver and a great idea. Thanks for this thread.

Indeed, it is. I spend a lot of time in Dravanian Forelands looking for certain mobs, like the ones that's on the mountain tops and in the caves.

I just found this daily hunts tracker through the FFXIV subreddit today. You can select what mobs you're searching for, and it displays an optimal path.
