With crafting now able to go to lvl 60 and the new Collectables turn-ins, I figured I would post some helpful info for every one ^_^
How Collectables Work:
First you need to unlock the Collectable turn-ins. You do this by getting the quest "Inscrutable Tastes" from Morgayne (Main Story Line quest "The Better Half" must be completed) (She is located at 10,10 in Foundation and must have a lvl 50 DoH or DoL Class)
Once that quest line is finished you will be able to make and turn-in Collectables for exp and at lvl 56 get the scripts that are needed for gear and other things.
Making a Collectable:
First you will want to add your new ability Collectable Synthesis to your hot-bar. This ability puts a semi perm buff on that lasts as long as you stay in one class. If you switch classes or use the ability again it will be turned off.
Collectable Synthesis will change the HQ bar to a Collectablity bar. This bar works almost the same as HQ, the only diffrance is that when the synth is done even if you didn't fill it to 100% you will still have the Collectablity. Your goal with turn-ins is to get the highest possible collectablity for max exp/scripts. In other words you want 100% HQ if possible.
So onto the actual crafting:
1. Turn on Collectable Synthesis 2. Pick your item to craft 3. Craft it (when you complete the craft you will get a window asking if you want to make the item a collectable, select "Yes") (repeat steps 2-3 until you run out of mats lol) 4. Turn-in to Collectable Appraisser in Mor Dhona
Macro Intro: Now I modified the ffxiv guild's 3 star master crafting rotation, for my goldsmith turn in of Agate Rings. With the Basilisk Whetstone as HQ and the Agate as NQ I was getting 100%. I'm almost positive this macro will work for other items of similar Difficulty and Durability.
My Stats: Craftsmanship 438 Control 397 CP(with b.base HQ) 390
Agate Ring Stats: Difficulty 339 Durability 80 Quality 3951
